I met up with Brett as I left the SCG tonight. He really can't close his mouth because his lip is so swollen.

He said that he might fast forward through that bit when he watches the game again. He was walking a bit gingerly and seemed a bit vague but I didn't think to ask him if he was driving - he was with Monty so I hope Monty gave him a lift home.

Do any of the players think that it is a bit freaky that you hang around to leave the ground with so many of them.

On Kirk, it is sad when your club champion's biggest contribution to a game is being kicked in the head.

                  Is Kirk immune?
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Yes, lets dump all the hard working "in and under" types and leave it to the glorified "pack riders" to strut their stuff. But wait, who will get it out to them?

Kirk is struggling to hit targets this year. His clearance work has been second-rate.

Might make our games better to watch.

FWIW, how many times does Kirk get it out these days ?

I think the players all walk a bit taller with the likes of Kirk being on the ground. He has enough points on the board surely. He is not alone this year in having a patchy season, hopefully a few of them turn it around for the last six weeks

Me stalking them! I had to take out an AVO against NOG last year.

Oh, but then I did meet Brett in the men's toilets at Eastgardens 48 hrs before the Grand Final. And I thought I was nervous about that weekend!

So he should get kicked in the head more often?!?
