My Pokemon brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "Wanna trade cards?"
"Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I can beat you, I've got Charizard!"
As I said in the other thread, how can they put Davis back in? He was dropped for form and fitness, Roos said he hadn't recovered these last week and he didn't play this week.

Magic is now more out of form than Davo. They should simply swap.

Is our field kicking good enough to pop it on the head of a guy as unfit as Doyle?
I would like to see him in and I would love to see him kick 4 but right now I don't have the confidence our foot skills are good enough. Hope I am wrong.
When was the last time we played the Dons at the SCG? Must be 2001 or something like that? Should be an exciting night.

Possibly, but we know that's simply not going to happen.

Out: Phillips [sorry dude!]
In: Doyle and [maybe] Davis
If they don't assess Davis during the training session, then i guess he wouldn't be playing against Essendon. But we need him after Magic's attmepts at goal last night against PA.

I think the team's field kicking is one of its best aspects at the moment, particularly when the ball is in the hands of Malceski, B2, Dempster or Kennelly and they are prepared to kick it in long and quick. That was when the forward line looked most potent last night and last week.
And even around the ground last night the kicking was reasonably secure, particularly given the conditions.
Also, I don't think Doyle is that unfit. He played a reasonable portion of last week in the ruck and moved pretty well around the ground.
That said, I'm not sure that next week will see him back. Like Port and Richmond, Essendon only have one true ruckman fit at the moment, with Ryder likely to provide the support role. Roos may be willing to roll the dice again and sacrifice Teddy as the second ruck.
Personally I'd like to see Doyle back next week. I don't think Jolly can see the team through a finals series without any proper support, and if Doyle is going to crumble again the first time he gets on the ground in a senior game, better that it happens in the "should-win" Essendon game than in the "must-win" Dees game.

Because its been explained to us by some RWO luminaries that we shouldnt take any notice what Roos says or does.

Magic's goal kicking is rubbish at the moment but he's still dangerous around the forward line. His set-up for Schneider for the last goal last night was a beauty.
If Davis comes back in - this week or later - it will be because he's convinced the club he's ready. It won't be - nor shouldn't be - at the expense of O'Loughlin. There are plenty of others to make way.

I didn't think it was that exciting. Good work but nothing particularly spectacular or magical.

I still don't know how he missed from 10m out. After he nailed two hard ones last week I thought he may have returned to form. Perhaps he needs to have a baby every week to inspire his goalkicking!
