I have never seriously bagged the cheersquad and have contributed banner suggestions. Because I happen to think poorly of JF and some of his cronies does not mean I have an issue with the CS. I think I went on the record as defending CS members after JF's earlier personal attack on the disabled members of the very squad he seeks to embody. I think that the Hall Hall school for uncoordinated, overweight and ignorant fans is something of a slap in the face to the cheersquad. Given the reactions on here to certain things that have been said over time relating to cheer squads and banner making I will be a little stunned if there is not some outcry (unless Hall Hall is publicly endorsed by Roos of course - then it will be perfect).Originally posted by giant

It doesn't sit right with me that the CS are privately told "Nothing funny, risky or interesting, make it rhyme and keep it dull" and then they are publically mocked for being cliched. A total set up.Originally posted by ROK Lobster

Sanecow & Rok - are there members of the cheersquad in it? if so - then if they are Ok with it why cant others be.
Now I think the world of you two with your wit and ability to put a different slant on the contentious issues, but in this instance I think that you need to take a bex, have that cup of tea (in the Royal Doulton of course) and good lie down.
Granted there have been things said about the CS and their banner making prowess, but at the end of the day its a bit of a pisstake.
