Too slow all around today. Roos needs to be able to adjust the game plan to get the players to move the ball quickly into an open forward line. We've got our goals from doing that. Geelong are disciplined at playing us tight and not giving us the chance to chip the ball up the wing.
Ablett and Jolly best so far IMHO.

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

BTW - yet again I will say that Grundy's game is completely different to Davis'. Consider the difference - 192, 97 v. 184, 81.

What's wrong with Bevan today? He's the only one consistently providing any pressure. He got pinged for holding the ball at a time he should never have been given the ball.Comment
