Can someone make some rational sugestions please? Drop Barry Hall? seriously. One bad game doesn't warrant cutting one of our most important and influential players....

Depending how he performs --> Davis in next week. Is Crouch fit to play?
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

Could even be 6th if Saints and Freo play out a draw

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

A few blokes proved again today that they are not up to it week in week out i.e. Bevan & Dempster, Grundy 2 goals & a nice assist but a luxury we can't afford, Malceski invisible most of the time again. Kennelly played his worst ever game...we could not kick to each other, we were outpaced so often in one on one (Buchanan, McVeigh frequently). Very sad but fairly predictable apart from the people on this board who are hopeless optimists (I prefer to hide behind my pessimism...which I call realism developed over 50 years). Goodes terrific, Ablett , Jolly & Fosdike OK, ROK disappeared in the second half, Barry couldn't find the ball. All in all a great day for Geelong who played competently & tackled very well against poor opposition.
          Top 4 shaky.

              I thought it was 2%.

Anyway, Freo will be thanking us should they get over the Saints.

To rub salt into the wounds, Melbourne will probably lose to the Kangaroos...

Amazing pressure by Geelong which contributed to our poor foot skills.

Nice logjam on 48 points now. One of Freo or St Kilda will go above us tomorrow, unless they draw in which case both will go above us. Melbourne should dispose of the Kangaroos and hey ho we're in 5th! Brilliant. Can't rely on Adelaide beating Melbourne now as well.

                  Perhaps they might.

It seems to me that your request fits with my perception of you.

I can't imagine you going in for the hard ball.

I remember, once upon a time, a game I was playing in a fulla had a go at me. We'd call him an outside player. He was more than happy to have a go at me 'cause I didn't give him a handball from a hard ball get that I'd just won. I've never seen him get a hard ball.

More than happy to have a go at those that try and don't acheive.

On the subject of puerile. Wouldn't the attitude you've displayed over the longevity or your postinf fit nicely within that definition.

I assumed the drop Hall comment was either tongue in cheek or a dig at the people criticising the team.

Davis has to come in. Kicked 5 or more goals today.
                    Our forward line is woeful.

The team has to let up on this insistence of causing 5 stoppages a minute and try to play some more open football. We need to kick more goals and we won't do that without making more space for our forwards.

Hard to say what else to do. I'm guessing Crouch won't play again this year and we miss his tenacity.

I just don't think our side has it all together as we did last year. Players like Kirk, Barry and J Bolton, who were so critical last year, just aren't doing enough on a regular basis this year. But it's really an overall thing - we seem to drop back into that horrible stop-start game of 2004 much more often now than we did in the second half of 2005.

Eh? That would be a good thing for us.

The only positive to come out of today is that NICK DAVIS WILL BE BACK NEXT WEEK.

We were appalling. Can't believe Davo was kicking a bag in Canberra while that ineptitude was going on.

We are so far off the pace its not funny. Goodes is getting better by the week it's a shame no one else (except Ablett) is going with him.

agreed, not to knock him he tried his guts out, showed a lot of skill but things just failed to come off. indicative of our day really, geelong were REALLY good and just smashed us.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Just that if we won we would have been a couple of games clear...

I meant it also from Freo's viewpoint. They will be very happy for the dees to go down as they have a worse % than Melb.
