What we need to do to beat the Eagles at Subi????

What do you reckon Roosy has up his sleeve for next week? Should be an unchanged team and it was good to see an improvement from alot of our players today - in particular Jude Bolton, Kirk and Schneider

Hopefully Nick Davis fit enough to go over to Subi this time But I'd love to see him play closer to goals though

Dempster's booming kick could be an attacking weapon for the finals and we're gonna need lots of run from Fosdike, Malceski, Schneider and Buchanan

Hopefully Wirrapanda doesn't play and I doubt that Embley will. Judd will play but maybe not at 100% and Staker got concussed yesterday but you never know with them

Massive job for whoever gets Lynch (Leo always seems too) and we need Jolly to continue his form on Cox who is just coming into his beginning of the year form

And as always against the WC, we need to stop their gun midfield

    Bring on next week!

De- yip Micky O would be a starters or a plan to offload with set shots.

Can't see anyone being dropped from todays game on form. There were a few stuff ups by players, but not enough to drop.

I would like to see Grundy back in but THE ESKY will be a force this September!

ok, I'm not a Troll but I do know west coasts weaknesses quite well.

Beat our midfield and stop them kicking goals

Beat Lynch (actually becoming hard to do now)

Stop hunter/Graham kicking goals from backline runs

          Stop Cox

after you have done that then you need to:

kick goals from the midfield (Hall & Micky may strugle to kick 3 between them against Glass/Brett Jones/Chick/Hunter) this means blokes like Goodes and Dempster, Buchanan, McVeigh ect need to be very offencive rather than defencive.

run out the game for a full 4 quarters (swans seem to get over run by west coast in the 4th quaters) and not just build a lead and try to shutup shop.

can't think of many other things, don't just target Judd either as Kerr, Butler and Waters are capable of toughing it out in the clenches for 4 quarters if needed.

slowing the game down for too long will mean that WC will have massive reserves in the second half from the second midfield (Rosa, Waters, Butler, Jones, Braun, Selwood ect) while the First lot have a rest (Judd, Cousins, Kerr, Fletcher, Embley, Stenglein)

Goodes in my mind would have too be the key, pretty much odds on for the brownlow after today and is having a great season.

NOG should puch forward against Cousins as from what I have seen is good over head and a thumping kick and Cousins is not the most accountable bloke going around.

I will think of more stuff a little later

          nice website btw

correct, and we were missing a few of our second midfield so its not surprise that you did.

that was also at the smaller MCG, Subi is a very long ground to keep numbers around the ball for such a long period of time.

I was thinking more of the QF and R16 this year as examples

as long as there isn't the umpire 'McClaren'...

but apart from that. No changes, i think we got our top 22. They all played well today.
