Sounds like Belconnen lined up a few of our guys. I've always suspected that it could end up like this when teams get frustrated at not being able to beat us.
Any chance of cutting and pasting the good bits Ugg. I'm banned from planet Ando and can't read it.

Lol, why am I not surprised.

      By WCL,
Hey everyone, just letting you know that the Swans are into the Granny. Beat Belconnen 117-95, good 2nd half Belco got withing 1pt in the last term and it was never much more than that all day. The first half was a discrace, I think Belco were trying to kill some of your blokes, a couple of blokes were thrown into the fence. Spriggs was smashed into the fence in a sickening incident, completely deliberate, his arms were pinned and he was well over the boundry, suddenly he was thrown into the picket fence at Manuka and almost got impaled, I dead-set thought he was dead! Thank god he was okay, but didn't take any further part in the game. Then late in the 2nd quarter, a couple of swans players returned the favour and threw Chris York into and over the fence. Vogels probably best for swans. Illet and Bennet for Pies.
      and today
not entirely sure if it was Spriggsy (but pretty sure), paper 2day said he came off with a corked thigh. May have been Phillips, but whoever it was they were pretty badly hurt at the time, and there was plenty of blood. Yeah, I think Maher was out to get some revenge through his players for Willoughby breaking his jaw. As I said before, 1st half was a discrace, 2nd half was as good a game of footy I have seen at this level.

I went. Saw both premierships last year, and will be ever grateful to all that made it possible too.

Yeah i was there. Didn't quite have the grand final emotion and atmosphere u would expect, all focus was rightly on the senior team. I actually wonder if they even had an esky on the way home.

                      Reserves

                      Not much news on ressies.
                      Congrats on making Grand Final.
Belconnen certainly decided to try dirty tactics but to the boys credit did not let it get to them.
Looking forward to the Grand in Canberra Sun 24th, 2 days after we get the Seniors to their Grandie!!
                      Go the bloods!!!!
                      cheers

Unless someone in the club's forgotten about Spriggs entirely (which is quite plausible!), it transpires that the dastardly deeds done to him by Belconnen were perhaps not as horrific as first thought, i.e. he's not even on the injury list as a 'test'.

By my count (with the Chambers walk-out) this gives us 20 players able to play in the ressies GF. That's pretty darn impressive fitness/injury management (or luck, depending on your view).
