            My 4yo nephew was watching the game last week with his father. He got on the phone and I asked him how freo were going. He said, "Aunty, the dockers are smashing butts, we are going to the grand final.". Bless his passion ... it makes me cry!!

                            I'm getting so old mate. I was physically & mentally exhausted after the match. Had no more energy to give to be honest. The last thing you want to do when you are already so wasted is getting blitteringly drunk.

                            I have a couple of drinks then went home with sustinance from a certain restaurant that is an Eagles sponsor!

                            Still if we make the GF I DO want to beat my 5am effort last year too.

                                            I've just had a look on the forums for the dockers and for the eagles.. and I've learnt alot!

                                            Eagles fans are such whingers!! I can't believe all the drivel they write about how they 'should' have and 'could have' won blah blah YOU DIDN"T SO DEAL WITH IT!

                                            Although, one or two of them had some relatively insightful comments to make on why they lose to us.

                                            On the other hand, its interesting to see that most sydney supporters will be going for Freo if they beat us in the grand final, and most dockers supporters will be going for Sydney if we beat them.
                                            Except for the guy that suggested some signs to take to the game this weekend:

                                            "Even Demetriou thinks you're crap" and
                                            "Anyone can beat the Eagles"

                                            hahahaha that hatred of the weagle scum is very endearing..

                                                Oops - that was a little unclear - i meant if they beat us this week, seems we'll support them next week - and vice versa.

                                                I'll still refer to them as the dirty dockers until the completion of the weekend - win or lose.

                                                        Congratulations to Sydney and to all the supporters - a great game, despite the umps paying some very inconsistent frees in front of goal to the Swannies.

                                                        You earned the home ground advantage and made the most of it.

                                                        I'm proud of what Freo has achieved this season and I'm super proud of the supporters who were at the game last night - we could hear the Freeeeoooo chant loud and clear, even though you were heavily outnumbered.

                                                        Enjoy the moment once again guys and here's to a Swans v Adelaide GF... we'll be back to take you on again in 2007!!!
