This is shocking!! Two weeks would still seem a fair buffer period though so it sounds like a bit of a beat-up, but fingers crossed it doesn't arrive until next week, or at least decides to come early this week!!
Jolly could miss the GF

There was actually TV coverage of this about 4-5 weeks ago (perhaps on Seriously AFL or something along those lines) and whilst he said he wasn't sure, she was pretty adamant that she wouldn't let him miss the Grand Final.
I think we'll be right, they always look for the big hype stories, this is just one of them.Comment

And according to a story in the Sun-Herald, Brett Kirk's wife "is about to have twins" - doesn't say when they're due though.

Get that baby induced on Thursday morning, have a nice quick/small baby labour ( I speak from experience here) , get all the 'ooh' 'aahs' over and done with on Thursday night and get Jolly down to Melbourne on Friday morning, in time for the parade.
Oh well, guess he could miss the parade then, but not the GF!!I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

also - if they are smart most scheduled c-sections are done on Tuesdays and Fridays ( I have just been told that ) - so if they are that concerned, then pay the doctor a visit - and see if he can fit it in on say Tuesday - far more convenient for us (and we pay his wages!!!)I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Can you think of any other job with a likewise salary that an employee would be allowed to miss the most important few days of a year?! Sure if it was a more flexible time, sure. But this is not on.Comment
