She doesn't need a C section. Just get that drip going and in a few hours, she couldn't care less if her hubby was on the moon! Quicker recovery and could join him in Melbourne for the game!

The odds of the labour starting on the Fri or Sat are statistically minimal compared the the odds of his being able to play.

I'm not going to panic just yet.

Problem is that they are quoting Jolly as saying that he will miss the GF if the missus gives birth Saturday.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

She can hold on. Look at all the mums who managed to wait 'til 1 July for their baby bonuses.

JESUS H CHRIST ... get your boots and be ready as an emergency ruck call up!!
Dunkleygate, Barrygate, Babygate. Noice. I hope the swans will kick in for the colour job on my grey hairs!!
I vote they induce the thing this Tuesday ... kid born, washed & blow dried, goo'd and gaahed over, on the plane Thursday, GF parade Friday, massive win Saturday.
              Easy peasy!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Anyone stop and think this might be a Swans deliberate leak to throw confusion into the WCE camp. The history since Roos has been there says "she'll be right mate".

We have Doyle as #1 , backed up by LRT , Teddy , Goodesy ,Bazza , Schneiderman and Simon Phillips.

And if THEY are out then we could always pick Paul Cha.......

Message to all Swans players - please use condoms from mid December to mid January.

Roos had a very large smirk on his face during the Sunday Football Show when asked that question. When onto say that he didn't even know it was due in the next couple of weeks.

Master of the sideshow is Roos.

Mate this is the gf at the mcg , not the wizard cup rd 2 v whoever at cazaly oval cairns.

Funniest thread I've ever read on RWO - mrs d had to flee to the loo.
She'd let me play - not that it would do the Swans any good...
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Jared McVeigh was on MMM this afternoon and when asked what he thought of Jolly and the birth of his child being on GF day - he didn't seem worried that Jolly would miss it. He dismissed the idea actually.

I'll take a teamate's words over the media any day.

Roosy said he wasn't worried in an interview on the news. Looked like he'd had a good night though - should invest in a pair of sunnies to hide those eyes

LOL, yeah I noticed Roosy looked a little 'weary'.
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.
