The Possible trades

I think it does need an explanation. Sure it would have been great to win, but in the context of trades, we had almost the same team, and we lost by one point after winning by 4 last year.

To say that there is some signficant distinction between last years team and this years team based on the GF results is absolute bloody bunkum.

Personally I think we are a better team, if anything. I would have loved a different result, but the team surely hasn't gone backwards, as some of you have suggested.

In a way, yes.

We were 2 points away from winning a GF and had key players in Williams, Ball and Crouch out. On the other hand, the Eagles had gained Lynch and Braun.

To lose 3 important & experienced players and still get within a point is a phenomenal effort.

You're joking...these three are are most valuable players and i would never let any of those three go. Goodes = dual brownlow medalist and only for 2 first round?

IMO they are worth more than their weight in gold.

I take it you don't want the Swans to challenge for top 8? Let alone the Premiership. Goodes and O'Keefe have their best years ahead of them and Hall still has a lot to offer.

We could potentially draft someone who may not be up to much anyway despite how good the draft may be.

Also, i think O'Keefe and Goodes were both 3rd or 4th round picks. So there is still plenty to offer in the draft even past the first 20.

I think everyones looking at this the wrong way.

Should be looking to offload some dead weight - and make some space on the list. Also Christmas is just around the corner, and we all know what a busy time of year this can be. So might I suggest that Roosy kills two birds with one stone by carrying out the following:

1. Nic Fosdike = A Pony

2. LRT = Big Doll's House

3. Benny Matthews = A packet of Chewing gum

This creates a bit of space and will keep his girls happy well into January.
