Very resourceful, very well thought out, a credit to your intelligence really - Didn't think you had a humourous side.

A wet soggy night and a wet soggy result. On a dry night we would've

won, we playeed great dry weather footy. Someone just forgot to tell

the boys that ITS RAINING!! The poor win record at the SCG continued.

After keeping our opponent goalless in the first qtr the past two

weeks, it was our turn and never recovered. too many quick handballs

that missed targets or were too hard to control in the slippery

conditions, Unlike Reiwoldt that marked everything in sight. A late

charge in the final qtr was not enogh to get us over the line.

          The winning streak is over.

A Weeks break gives us the time to dry out re group and put last

fortnights glitch behind us. Two goals in two minutes sound some

warning bells. Sydney are lucky to be down by only 2 goals at the first

break. A hapless effort in the 2nd term let the pies get out to a 21

point lead. We could mange only 6 behinds. After 1/2 time the swans

reshuffled forward line kicked 4 in 12 minutes, to snatch the lead for

the first time. But Sydney failed to maintain the presuure and the

momentum swung back and the pies lead by 25 points at the last change.

They increased their lead to 40 points before the swans found some

heart and reduced the deficit, but never threatened to win.

2 losses in a row season in the balance again.
The swans are sluggish. Again. The Dockers control the first qtr to lead by 13. The swans started to dominate after the first break, but poor kicking kept Freo in front at half time. When the Swans got in front the Dockers would storm back into the game. After MOL nailed a tight set shot the margin was back to 3 points. It wasn't just goals MOL was getting, it was possessions. He was everywhere in one of his best games for many seasons.
In a major surprise LRT was thrown into the ruck, and with no Sandilands he was surprisingly good there. getting the ball moving forward with 2nd and 3rd efforts. Schneider also provided a spark up forward, and the dockers were gone. 6 goals to 1 in the last and a comfortable win. Phew.

After some clinical wins recently the Crows were here to do the same. After a tight first qtr, the Crows broke loose after the first break and were never headed. A 6 goal second term, followed by another tight 3rd qtr. The swans had no answer in the final qtr, as the crows unleashed another 6 goal qtr to bury any chance the hapless swans might've had.

Struggling to put two wins together, now.

The Grand final Replay. Much hype about this game.
No Glass, should give Hall an Edge. And in a surprise move Goodes lines up on Judd. The swans hit the ground running, with 6 goals in the openeing qtr. Sydney continued to dominate after 1/4 time, goodes was having the better of Judd, who was doing his best to keep the eagles in the game. After leading by 32 points at the main break, the eagles acame out firing and kept the swans goalless while they reduced the margin. Judd and Cousins worked tirelessly, to get the Eagles back into the game during the final term. A sickening collision between Bevan and Embley, halted the game and the Eagles took control soon afterwards and landed a couple of quick goals. The final nail came when a tumbling punt from Stenglein just cleared the line giving the Eagles the lead for the first time and inflicting a heartbreaking defeat on the swans.

Phillips makes his Debut. And where is Davis?

Another Percentage booster, welcome Grundy and Goodnight Kirk!!

O'Keefe got the ball rolling after a scrappy start to the game. He found himself in space plenty of times and made the most of his opportunities. He finished with 3 goals as did MOL(who had a relatively quiet game) and Grundy.

                Big win end of story!

The highlight of the game was Grundy kicking 3 goals on Debut, with some strong leads and marks, and Tuck KOing Kirk with a right foot snap.
