If he was genuine why would he be stupid? All it's saying is that he either WANTS to play footy and is willing to do all the right things to do so, or he loses out. It's then up to him to make the choice to either be serious or lose his contract. if he's serious he signs, if he's not, he walks and is no loss to the Swans world.Originally posted by Annie Haddad

$50k base PA
$2k p/wk for ongoing good behaviour
$5k per game match payment
That's about $280k PA for the regular season.

Easy - define the "wrong moves" - e.g. positive drug test, arrest for criminal behaviour, inculding motor vehicle-related offenses - things like that. And even a "bringing the club or game into disrepute" clause - i.e. he does something they hadn't thought of when they put the contract together, but that brings serious bad publicity. 3. No getting drunk and going out for take-aways at 12.30am.
4. No going out to nightclubs and starting brawls at 4am.

Whilst I do agree that a contract like this would be fabulous (or probably better is RP's version ... hit him in the hip pocket), either way, it's a legal nightmare waiting to happen.
