There is no reason why we wont have three ruckman out there - they could own part of the ground each. Could even keep Everitt at the club for 3 years if the rotation etc is used right.

There are a heap of opportunities with three ruckman all working together.

Wow, 90 seconds to go. Did Hawthorn really think that the Swans might cave in to them?

Anyone think of a club that have 3 ruckmen? Sorry doesn't happen, it will be the magoos unless one is injured. Who else would make way for a tall lumbering ruckman

Doyle will be there hopefully when Spida goes....unless injury gives him a spot earlier...ala Jolley (or someone has a baby due on GF day)

I hope you are all right about Spida...but he has not had a happy reputation in the past...is he a team man? If not what odds a blow up like Davis. The guy is 32 after all...has anyone seen him carry on like a juvenile with that other twirp Brown on "The Gospel". It will be fascinating to watch this unfold in 2007.

Brisbane did it a few times from memory and would have more if not for injury.

In anycase, do you think Roos recruited Spida to keep Doyle or Jolly in the reserves? There has to be a plan to work around three ruckman.

No other club has 3 captains, just because it doesn't happen often doesn't mean it wont, Roos has to have a plan and just because you are a ruckman, doesn't mean you have to ruck....

It will be interesting to see if they run with all three ruckmen, rotating between ruck, full forward and interchange. Could make a pretty formidable forward and ruck combination.

Anthony Hudson on SEN here in Melbourne, said we made a big play for Steve Johnson after it appeared we weren't going to get Everitt.

Maybe Doyle could spend some time roaming up back? be great for the long bombs into our defensive 50. I can't remember how fast he is for a big bloke, but could cause some problems up there for some forward lines I imagine.

I think we should cut down on our long bombs into the defensive 50.
