That's crap. The Irish were much more physical than in previous years...did you see the knee to the head.
It's not a good night to be an Australian in Dublin....
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.
* ROK a star BUT missed a sitter that possibly could have sealed it.
* Playing keepings off doesn't work in IR
* Memo to Schneider - the round ball has a natural tendency to curve. Turned the ball over too many times including that crucial last one that on it for Ireland.

I thought that was one of the best games for a while. The last two series have been so one-sided (albeit to different teams) that it was good to see a true contest.
All the Swannies equipped themselves well, which is also good to see.
Talk was that it was a toss-up between Davis and Fevola to play this game so it is possible that Davis will miss next week. But maybe his class and skill with the round ball will get him another game, especially with the Australians needing a good win to snatch the series.
Anyone else think the Australians were silly in trying to push forward at all costs at the end when the series is decided on aggregate allowing Ireland to score an easy goal, which ironically could tip the series in their favour?
Really enjoyed it this year..good tight game, good tackle on the dog by the umpie(I thought he was trying to use Max Walker's how to mesmerise chooks method..good lateral thinking).
Our boys from both sides shone.
Goddard looked like a lumbering fool.
Our tackilng was decisive in getting us back in the game. The forward pressure from Davey is fantastic.
Looking forward to next time and Warwick Capper played well too..that bloke is everywhere!!!!

Davis could feel pretty hard done by if he made way for Fevola after that game. If they want to find space in the forward line to squeeze in Fevola then Voss, and all the press about his inclusion, could put them in an awkward position.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
