Agreed Stella..the game was too fast for Voss. Fev shoulld not replace Davis.

First time in my life I have ever liked Dustin Fletcher. How begrimed do I feel barracking for an Essendon player?

It was great to see so many Swans playing well. Any swans fan who is not into this series (i.e. an extra chance to see the boys rock and roll) needs his head examined.

Good to see Kennelly pick up Hall a few times!

Great match overall, too bad the result was in favour of the Irish.

Channel Ten's coverage could've been better...
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

                Aussies lost by 8 points.
I try and help every body out with the result and you still waste your time watching it.

I find it pretty boring and pointless - just can't get excited seeing them kick a round ball (would much prefer S.O.O or a similiar concept like All Stars), but it has built up a bit of a following and does give some players an opportunity to represent Australia, so that can't be a bad thing I guess.

Geez, you must be looking back with rose-coloured glasses.

SOO at its best was lopsided, boring, artificial and sub-standard. Oh yeah, "Go the Allies".

I agree. It's not football, it's something different. That there are Swans playing is meaningless IMO (unless they get hurt then it's bad!).

I'll make you feel better Satchmo.
You were not barracking for an Essendon player - you were barracking for an Australian player. Significant difference.

I watched it live at the Fulham Slug...I couldnt hear it as they were pumping out pathetic 80's music at rediculously loud levels. What makes it worse is they didn't put it on till 1/4 time.

Thought that we played poorly but had the chance to win it, however didn't take our opportunities.

I was standing next to a South African guy for the 2nd & 3rd quarters, and he had no idea about the game. I've found in the past that it is difficult to explain AFL to a foreigner, but to try and describe IR was nigh on impossible!

The first half was extremely boring, but I thought the second half was great. When the fitness levels started to show the game opened up and was much better. If only the field could be a little bigger.
