FWIW, I often disagree with stuff that you post, but that doesn't stop me reading it, thinking it over and possibly changingsome of the ideas that I have. Is that such a bad thing?

I think it was Charlie that once said, that you are always entitled to your own opinion, but once you post it in a public forum, then it is open to be rebuffed, challenged, discussed and refuted, just as in conversation, once you voice an opinion then it is open for discussion.

I don't always challenge those that I disagree with, but when one opinion is so different to the majority of others then surely people will want to ask why. I did that, and am satisfied with the answer.

BTW can I quote you next time you question someones opinion?

Fair point, continued negativity does annoy me, but we all reserve the right to be negative sometimes. It was probably a bad choice of words, because it was really the negative attitude of Wil when most others were positive that had me scratching my head.

It was more out of character for Will, my impression is that he is usually a pretty positive person, but this post was completely opposite.

Surely we needed to find some support (almost immediately) for
Leo Barry. The Eagles took the next pick (16) M Brown 193cm,
92kg (can play either end of the ground) and E McKenzie 195cm, 91kg can play bothe ends also but played back in Carnival and from channel 10 highlights looked good.
Whats our preoocupation with mid fielders. Mosy of the phantom drafts had bothe reasonable early with M Burgan having Brown at 19 and McKenzie at 21, Surely one of these would have been better at 15.

What I take from the site is COMMITMENT, LOVE of FOOTY, and Charismatic/Popular/Leader. Not all great footlballersa are quiet private schoolboy types. Who wants a big man who DOESN'T have big tickets on himself...imagine how the Bloods coaches will be able to channel that confidence! Much easier than creating confidence where there is little (Willoughby? M. Davis?).

Seems like he could be a real late number gem to me. Also LOYALTY...got the Cheer, Cheer on his myspace YESTERDAY. I think that's brilliant.

Regarding the need for a key defender, my suspicion is that young Rowe is ear-marked making another developing SPECIALIST Key defender less of a priority, freeing the recruiting department to choose the best available player instead of the best availble key defender.

Also I heard the last three picks and we took all our time each time (we were the only ones) did we take a long time for o'keefe as well.

Second part...any goss as to WHY the long discussion...maybe Currie v Benjamin "Benjamin's a bit better but we have O'keefe and no talls yet"

You would think they had already rated Currie ahead of white and didn't need to discuss that

Agreed Sharp. There also seem to be some immature minds on this site who derive mirth from someones surname. They sound like primary school boys who have just discovered something and are having a bit of a giggle behind the shelter sheds.
