Good men do good deeds. Evil men do evil deeds. But it takes religion for a good man to do evil deeds.Comment

You're correct - it was the lead up to Plugger's record and there was talk that he would break it against the Eagles (he needed to kick 4 or 5 in that game IIRC).
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Thanks for all the interest.I'm looking for someone (could be a group effort) to do a Match preview of this game (and hopefully the rest of the season, doesn't have to be the same person.)
Need to do possible match ups, players to watch from both teams, etc etc. I have some examples, of previously written previews, from both RWO and EFH to use as a guideline.
It can be written in advance, but needs to be completed after the teams are announced on Thursday night, and be ready Friday morning, so the article can be posted.
Anyone interested please PM me.

I remember the week prior to the Eagles game, the Swans were down at Kardinia Park. I think Plugger needed 12 goals at that stage and I didn't go down, thinking we were "safe" for at least one more week.
By half time he had six on the board and I - and a lot of others watching the game at Easts - started to get very agitated that he might do it too soon.
I think he just scored one more in the second half...
(Though at least the Swans won quite comfortably. Question for trivia buffs - is that the most recent time the Swans have won at Kardinia?)Comment

Worsfold alluded to this recently - they are only too aware of their poor record in Sydney.
Besides, it's our turn to win...Comment

Catch the bus, or at least drive to somewhere, park your car, then catch the bus.Going back to the subject of this thread.
I've just noticed there are track works plan that weekend for North Shore and Northern lines.Source
This is going to be a nightmare for me, because I will have to drive to TS.
What a rotten luck!
The added advantage, the buses move 1000's of people after the game much quicker and with less frustration then lining up for the train.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment
