I normally just let it go, it is more fun to watch others duke it out. If I responded to all the posts (not just yours) that I disagreed with I would be on RWO all day. That would drive me nuts.

Time on Ground 92 minutes, 92 flamin minutes. Dont tell me this bloke is any good.
I agree with your sentiments, except that the statistic for game time is actually based on percentages, ie. he was on the ground for 92% of the game and not only 92 minutes which would be a little over 3 quarters.

Regardless, he has 9 possesions for only 1 Clanger - He's Improving!

0 assists (so he played an outside game and got 14 uncontested possessions and Benny was tagging him).

Gee Benny was serviceable though, not.

I certainly didn't think he was among our worst - but they are some real crap stats there's no denying.

Exactly. For a bloke who is meant to be a hardboy, he pulls out of a lot. Go look at the GF when he pulled right up on a contest from which the ball spilled free and Armstrong goals.

Benny was going to be first to the ball but knew he would get crunched.

            Very, very soft.

Still think Mathews offers nothing for the team despite being a really good player against the Tigers today. Schmidt had a few good touches today and i'd rather his inclusion in the team from here on in to see what he has to offer over a player that hasn't been the same since his stellar season a few years ago.

How many more games will you give him to improve before you drop the axe?!?

I think, to be fair, you should let him chalk up 250 games so we can see what he can really do before anyone thinks about dropping him from the side.

That's fair enough. No one really knows what a player has got until he has 250 games or so under his belt.

If he got there it's one list he'd top - "Worst players to play 250"...

he is keeping a younger and far more efficient player out of the seniors side. Its time to go Matthews.

he is also keeping a faster (both physically and mentally) player out.

I'd be interested to know who you think should be the 'in'. I've hardly seen anything of the 2's, but I have doubts another clearance-type player in Moore would be a good swop (to go with Kirk, J.Bolton, Schmidt). Maybe move Malceski to sweeper and have Laidlaw as a run-with?
