I know the lawyer well - he would have had Chick looking like a chook.

The AFL should fine West Coast for what was obviously a trumped-up charge.

And that's what many of their fans ultimately care about as shown time and time again on BigFooty aka BigEagle (well we're the premiers = lame comeback). Chick had no reason to single out Carr and he shouldn't have even bothered testifying when he had no evidence whatsoever.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

I'd love to hear an explanation from the Tribunal as to why they didn't exercise their right to discipline Chick for his unsatisfactory evidence.

It reflects so poorly on the whole league, and makes our administrators look so incompetent it's not funny.
They should be losing premiership points for all the times they've brought the game into disrepute. 20 points seems fair.

Apparently Chick's evidence is going to be reviewed by the AFL.

Let's hope they see Chick's effort for what it was - blatant lies.

And he should be forthrightly suspended. You can't treat this game with utter contempt and get away with it. Dispicable.

The AFL states that it hasnt received an official complaint about Chick's behaviour yet. How does one lodge such an official complaint?

Surely they could lodge one themselves!

Maybe RWO could band together and lodge a class action against Chick - for bringing the game into disrepute - and for playing the the Evils.

So why has Anderson made a comment then? Does anyone know what they're doing in the AFL????????????

Doesn't really matter what the AFL does - Chick will be judged by his peers every week for the rest of his career.
