Really a pretty average half by us. Lucky we're not playing a good side or we'd be 5 or more goals down. At least though the guys have steadied and worked themselves back into it.

I think Schneider's probably been our best. Decent work from O'Keefe. Some good work from Davis and Everitt. Barry and C Bolton doing pretty well in the back line. Some good things from Malceski. Kennelly has been okay in spots, but seems fairly quiet.

      MOL well beaten by Ryder.
Hall having an absolute shocker - needs to stop sooking about free kicks. At one stage he fell over appealing for a free kick instead of going for the ball.

Midfield has been mixed. J Bolton still frustrates with his lack of sense.
Ablett has been okay and has stopped Hird's influence.
Kirk's had a heap of the ball but not really having a huge impact I don't think.
Buchanan is one of our most creative players, but his disposal can be so bad he can be very frustrating.
Fosdike started well early but drifted out of it. Goodes mixed. MVeigh done nothing.

Our disposal overall has been poor as has our vision and decision making. Intensity has been down too - not many tackles and a lot not sticking.

Again we showed that we struggle when the opposition clogs up our forward line and puts pressure on us. Fortunately Essendon were unable to sustain it.

Buchanan must be headed for the 2s if he doesn't lift. Great goal assist for Goodes to Magic.
I was wrong about Gerard and his hair.

Same, but he rarely seems to be in the forward line these days.

Yeah I noticed that too. Not the full cortina, being second to the ball over and over.

Spida really does make a difference when he comes on....mind you the Bombers are reading his tap work really well.

Funny moment......Ben Matthews attacked the ball as though running through treacle and who did he come up against..Alwyn Davey...they are just sooooo difffderent it is hilarious to watch and to think they both are playing the same game.

Barry Hall is not a wet tracker. He rarely gets a touch when the ball is greasy or it is a wet night. He doesn't even run to space. Strange unit.

Absolutely crap effort my McVeigh chasing McPhee then. Jogging after him and then let McPhee move back inside.

Goodes is a @@@@wit and needs to concentrate on the bloody game!!

Again we're just lucky that Essendon are not making the most of opportunities.

Buchanan - how many mistakes can one man make?

Malceski, how about kicking deep instead of handpassing.

What a crap quarter. This is a very poor game by us.

J Bolton's foot skills are just garbage.

And what a stupid error to punch through a behind after the siren.

This new hands-in-the-back rule has ruined Hall's game. He's never been a great mark, but used to get a lot of contested marks by pushing out his opponents. He seems to have dropped considerably now in terms of contribution and I wonder what else he has in his armoury to compensate.

I am going to vomit......this game has sent my blood pressure through the roof.

We play a really taxing style of footy...they are exhausted.

Goodes and Bevan have studied at the Nicks school of staying on your feet!!!!!!!

Somehow Sydney are infront, can be thankful Essendon are doing their best to lose the game, which is better than Sydneys' best to lose the game.
