the comeback was good , but that settles the game will be hard to get 4 goals. at leats we have some fight left. get rid of the dead wood and we may be ok ......some optimism left

      not much optimism i think.

the reality is that our success has come on the back of deliberate short-term drafting. we will struggle for the next two-three years i think

        Just like last week.

A crap 2 goals in the first half - game over.

Five goals in the last quarter so that they're flattered by the scoreboard.

Here's hoping the team remembers how to play next week for Magic's special day. Idiots.

Well lets face it, not much point drafting young players to play in a 4th rate reserves comp.
Back to the game least some credibility from the game, and very impressed by Laidlaw on debut

              Laidlaw was very impressive.

Kirk and Goodes was in it 100%. Bad start from the Swans AGAIN. @@@@ me dead.

Kirk and Goodes great efforts in the last quarter. Ran themselves silly.

Its the other senior players who are very disappointing. Fosdike, Jude and Mathews all were pretty average. Compare that to two promising youngsters in Schmidt and Laidlaw.

Scoreboard again does not give atrue indication on how badly the team played.

At least they minimised the percentage damage but lets face it, the Swans won't challenge in the finals this year so % doesn't matter.

I'll wait with anticipation for the after game report from Coach Roos - ""Benny played well for us again......."

Defining moment.... we are 11 points down and on a big roll..the ball comes to a one-on-one and who is it between..G.Ablett and B.Matthews...FMD..why was that loser on G.Ablett??????????????? 11 out of 10 imes Ablett would beat him. I know he played well on him once before when Ablett was back from injury but I ask you?????????????

Schmidty has been quite impressive the last few matches, not the biggest impact throughout the whole game but always pops up for big goals

I'm not sure about this, but doesn't he have to get promoted to the senior list for that to happen?
