Comparing two games over a gap of one and half seasons against two games within one season hardly makes sense...

Really??? Is that true??? Comparing this seasons trend to a previously established trend is inaccurate???
You are the only one trying to pass off two matches as a trend.
In case you've forgotten, see your original posts on this topic where you derided someone's recollection of a great atmosphere at Telstra in 2004, said the place was like a sterile barn, that "our game goes down about two levels" and you would give the game away if it meant waiting 3 years for the Swans to win an important game out there. While you can opine all you like on the atmosphere at Telstra, your alleged facts in relation to the Swans performance there do not stand up to scrutiny.
There was never any mention of "this season's trend" until a review of the facts highlighted your whole argument as bogus.
Keep arguing if you like but you are making a (greater) fool of yourself.

Bit slow on the personal attacks this time Hammo, you're usually quicker to get to them than this, but you go hard son, I'm sure someone's impressed...
And jump up and down all you like, but the fact remains. We haven't won at TS this year and our form has been far better at the SCG.
Yep, last year the trend was the reverse. But as I have been at pains to explain to you, that doesn't count for squat. Current form does.
And it's not just that we have lost at TS that matters. What does is that the games we have played at TS, we have played abysmally.
As for generating stats, well since when has anyone been prevented from looking at the facts??
And guess what?? We're still 0-2 at TS this year. That's not a trend... That's a fact...

Why didn't I think of that?
What about we compare our last 4 grand final appearances with our last 4 games at Telstra Stadium...

..
If you were to compare our day form and our night form you might get a more compelling relationship. We have now won a couple of night games but only against Richmond and the Dees - so they don't count for much. All our TS games are played at night so we have no day games to counter the argument but it's as least as convincing that it's the night time factor that has led to those two losses as the venue factor.
I think we play a better game at the scg in general (and I prefer it), but I think this year, the losses at the stadium have been more due to the quality of the opposition.

Liz, I'd have to agree. On our current form, day time is our preferred game time.
Though I'd suspect someone could find stats to disprove that assessment.

Hmmm... Maybe... Maybe not.
Collingwood were pretty depleted so we should have really got the chockies over them. Though they have won some pretty good games this year, the team they fielded against us at TS was hardly their best 22.
WCE was without Cousins so you could argue they were down one of their most important KPP. Notwithstanding, as much as I hate them, they're still a very, very good team when they're firing.

Since when has Cousins been a KPP?

I would have thought one of the premier midfielders in the comp would have been a KPP regardless of the actual position he played. But then again, I'm probably only making an even (>greater) fool of myself in my lateral thinking....

You said it, not me
