Very interesting changes. Luke Brennan elevated from the rookie list and hopefully adds some excitement into the team like his namesake Jared for the Lions, but also play consistent footy unlike Jared. Great to see Monty, Hall and Kennelly back in the lineup but surprised Dempster and Vogels were dropped. Bevan hasn't done enough to earn a regular spot in this team and Grundy just doesn't make a good defender. I also doubt that Goodes will stay at CHB.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

I hope they don't persist with Grundy in Defence again.

What the Bevophobes can't explain is how he was awarded a Rising Star and the second best first year player in the comp. Ahead of Cooney and a lot of very talented footballers. You don't get rated like that if you have no ability. He's only 22 for christ sake. I recall Ryano spilling marks and missing sitters in his first couple of years. Its called development.

He can bloody well develop in the ressies. He is bloody shocking. Seriously I would have said the same thing as you a few weeks ago Connolly, but he is a dead set liability.

Strange very strange. Why did Richards get dropped? Good on Brennan for getting in the team. Goodes at CHB I cant believe and dropping Vogels over Grundy. Vogels looked more solid when he went back. And then dropping Dempster before dropping Bevan. That backline looks dodgy to me

Good to see Davis named in the forward pocket and Buchanan back again.

Not sure on players being everywhere as usual but not suprised!

I am completely bewildered by the addition of Brennan. Where's he going to play? I don't think I've seen him do anything of note in reserves games other than right in front of goal. It might have made sense if he came in with Hall missing, especially if they reckoned that O'Keefe playing close to goal to cover for Hall robbed the team of something around the ground. But with Hall back, he seems like a spare part.

On the other hand, what we lack is run and carry players through the middle. So we ignore Laidlaw, Jack and Barlow - all of who can provide this at varying heights - , drop Dempster who also provides it (with limitations), and bring in someone who seems to offer nothing in this respect, and whose delivery into the forward line (if he gets far enough outside to ever deliver it into the forward line) is likely to be on a par with Jude's.

                      Strange. Very strange.

I saw Brennan play last year (I think Richmond or Hawthorn) not sure - but was impressed on his play then and was surprised he was traded. Hope he does well.
Cannot understand Richards being dropped, nor Dempster or Vogels.
Must be a reason. Probably injuries they arent admitting for Richards.
                        Love those Swans

2 of the ins yes no issue there, brennan no issue either see if he has it or not, atleast he is quick and can take a mark, its the outs that have me puzzled. dempster plays his best game and gets dropped and the hack stays in, if someone has a logical explanation please help me there. superted had been down on form but grundy in place of ted. vogels stiff there looks like he has run his race at the swans. and where is lrt. if we lose this one we are no hopers whatsoever. sometimes i wonder what goes on in the match committees heads.

Looks like they're trying to develop Grundy into a backmen. Worth a try I guess.

Laidlaw will be absolutely bewildered and confused. What does he have to do to get in the side? Why is Bevan still there?

It seems to me we are one key defender short. Unless they go with Goodes at CHB which would be robbing us in the midfield.
