Official Match Day Thread - Swans vs Richmond

    Hi Guys

Is there a thread for this ?

What's the story with Dempster and Ted Richards ?

    Are they injured ?

Why have they both been dropped from the team ?

I thought Dempster was particularly stiff to be dropped considering he had a decent game against the Eagles

Can anyone tell me if there are any other injury concerns for the match against Richmond ?

There was something in the Daily Telegraph about Matthew Richardson not playing but I am sure that had to be a typo

Anyone got any news on that ?

Good call about Dempster dazza, I thought he was pretty good against the Eagles. Heaven forbid, we play him in the forward line for a game - he's only the second best kick at the club (Malceski safely no. 1).

Teddy didnt play well but gee he has been OK. Why drop 2 talls when Leo is out as well - 3 if you include Vogels.

Big night and big chance for Reg Grundy - he can forge a career or be forgotten about tonight - tough, but true. He was a defender in the SANFL if I remember.

      Richards in for Ablett apparently.

Makes no sense - you would think that would be an ideal opportunity to play Laidlaw who looked ok when he was in.

I think this late change was always on the cards.
It was just too many defenders to lose at once, with Leo injured, and the omission of Teddy and dempster.

I personally think Ted was always playing, and he would have known as well.
Just Roosy playing more mind games.

Yes but Ablett is injured - I don't see him dropping out at the last minute as part of "mind games".

Just heard Brennan kicked to Goodes and it was a beauty.

We lead by 7 points at the first change. This won't be an easy game to win.

the tigers were always going to get back into the contest.
The swans seem to think they are just going to win tonight.
                              Their body language seems arrogant.

Hopefully Roosy sets them straight, as they are otherwise playing some good footy.
