I've got a theory. Connolly is actually Bevan posting on here. The lambasting that he has had on here has spurred him to some of the form that he had as a first year player.

where we sit there is one of the "protective dykes" who sits near us, she has issues with OldRoyBoy and his barrage against Bevan (actually she tends to get the @@@@s with all of us who dare to have a bit of a shout). So when Bevan actually did some good things on Saturday - she took great delight in having her say in ORB's direction. The thing is this is only 1 game of the many he has played where he was actually useful and didnt produce costly turnovers that created goals for the opposition. So lets just not get too carried away with the Bevan accolades, one good game doesnt maketh a new excitement machine.
