Swans injury list before round 20

I'm beginning to wonder whether Crouch will ever get to 200:

    SYDNEY:

    Leo Barry (hamstring) - test
    Lewis Roberts-Thomson (glute) - test
    Jared Crouch (hamstring) - indefinite
    What's a 'glute'?
    Occupational hazards:
I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.

Crouch's career looks over to me. Sad. Anyone know when his current contract is up. If its this year, I wouldnt be suprised if we have a retirement announcement in the next few weeks.

That's the answer to the third delisting question:

          Doyle
          Vogels
          Crouch

Now we're down to 35 and no one needs to be traded!

Unless any of Brennan, Rowe, Barlow or Jack are to be promoted to the senior list. All have some kind of case for it.

Crouchie's hamstring is odd, given that he is suuposed to be playing. A furphy I reckon. Read today that Daniel Currie has been placed on the long term injury list. Guess he fell over his schoolbag.

Old Donk was listed as long tern injury too. Not surprising, with the rookies being standout performers in the ressies this year, this gives the club the flexibility to promote blokes like Jack, Rowe or Barlow in case (for example) Bevan, Jolly or O'Keefe get themselves hurt in the run home.

                  LRT running out of time

Looks like Luke Brennan is in for another week. Brennan on Brennan, the commentators will have a field day.

I dont want Brennan in there Im adraid- was impressed in his first couple of games but was very disappointed on Saturday night he really offered very very little to the squad. Hopefully Leapin Leo is fit and Schmidt will get another game- I feel he has contributed alright at times this year at least he gets in there and has a real dig.

That reminds me of when of the days when there was Williams on Williams. And of course the Bolton on Bolton one.

Luke did enough to warrant another week in the top flight - even though he didn't get a lot of possessions last weekend he was present around the ball more so than previous weeks and gave us the extra floating man back in the defence when we needed it.

Yes I agree, he backed up well in defence and while he wasn't flash around the loose ball, did okay. Roos seems to have been sufficiently impressed.

Deadline for promoting players has now passed. Had to do so before round 18.

I noticed that Jack had '(N)' against his name in Saturday's record, indicating he is eligible for senior selection and consistent with OMP's suggestion on BF that he'd been elevated. But the Record is confusing since Brennan wasn't similarly designated.

I wonder if that's Game. Set and Match for the Donkey Doyle.

                              I noticed this sentence
Meanwhile, Stephen Doyle (groin) and Daniel Currie were today placed on the long-term injury list; no rookies have been elevated at this stage.

and was wondering how they could still elevate at this time or would it be a typo?
