Can the Swans really beat Collingwood?

Most teams seem to have their bogey teams and also the ones that they play well against. We seem to do well against Hawthorn but Collingwood just seem to match up well against the Swans.

My question is what can the Swans do to beat Collingwood?

Obviously a lift in endeavour, desperation and skill levels (as shown against Hawthorn) is a good start.

Kick it to a Swans player in the forward line who can mark the ball and doesn't have 3 defenders hanging onto him all the time.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

The question is: what did the players and the coaching staff got out of the experiment on Sunday?

Of course we can. I won't be down there this time unlike last week. We're a shoo-in.

                  Hi Everyone!

                  In answer to your question

"My question is what can the Swans do to beat Collingwood?"

Yes, if they play with the intensity that they showed against the Hawks, they will beat Collingwood and any other team they play in the finals.

Recent form suggests Collingwood has the wood over us, but in all honesty these games do not have much in them.

It would be fair to suggest that Sydney will be able to produce on Saturday night something close to their best under finals intensity.

There will be some doubt about Collingwood's younger blokes being able to produce under this type of pressure and despite having a very good core of older players it is their youngsters in Pendlebury, Goldsack, O'Brien etc who are the players who got Collingwood to where they are now.

Stop the run of Pendlebury, put extreme pressure on Goldsask and O'Brien and quell the influence of Thomas and the game is ours.

The key difference IMO between a fortnight ago and this Saturday is our backline. We have Leo and LRT back which frees up our other 3rd and 4th backman. It will make a significant difference.

I am VERY confident about Saturday...Collingwood will not kick over 11 goals.

I have followed the Swans for many years, so I am never confident. Always hopeful, never confident.

Two guys over 6'3 in the backline will make a massive difference...eski is in 100% better form...buckley will not have the emotional impact...and dempster is running into finals form!..ask me for more if u wish!
Oh..and the dual meddalist is in as good form as he has ever been.

Can we beat Collingwood!!? Pfft, you're acting like they've played in the last two GF's and we've been limping into the 8 each year. Of course we can!!
