I think Bevan deserves his spot.

He's played some terrible games but shown enough to make me thing there is a future for him. Perhaps have him and Jack playing for the same spot? i.e. the nuggety backman. Whoever shows the best form gets a game!

I don't expect Roos to allow this to happen at all or to produce a line-up such as I have suggested. I think the 22 plus extras I have put together above looks pretty exciting with a lot of potential for the future (which was meant to be one of the major objectives of Roos' coach - not just one flag, but the beginning of a long successful period). I expect that instead we'll see a team next year not too dissimilar to the one we saw on Saturday night.

I'd just like to see a centre bounce with Spida, Kennelly, Malceski and Goodes sometime during the season.

How ridiculous. How about telling us what you think Crouch can offer the side in 2008 compared to the half a dozen players in the reserves who can play exactly the same role.

Why would we play our greatest attacking asset in the last line of defence?

You mean our best running defender? Why play him in defence at all if he's our best "attacking" player?

I think Barlow should be turned into a KPP - probably CHB.

Yeah, can't quite see Kennelly lining up at FB either.

Attacking off half back is quite different to attacking from full back, particularly when you have to mind the full forward.

At risk of stating the obvious, most attacks are generated on the rebound out of defence.

Having Kennelly at HB is no different to the Crows playing McLeod and HB.

He certainly has a good size on him, and appears to be quite quick, and as ORB attests is a very accurate kick, so maybe up the other end.

Or better still could be our switch hitter.
