    judd

    Hey guys

Have you heard the latest news ?

There is a rumour that Judd might be coming to play for the Swans

    That sounds a bit crazy

    Is he off contract ?

Has anyone else heard that ?

It is in the afl website

Do you think this would be a good move to recruit him if he were available and trade away their top 10 draft pick ?

He is still young and has heaps of finals experience.I like Judd

Over the past year or so I have changed my opinion of him. My earlier opinion of him was based on his disposal in the 05 GF.

It would be fantastic if it happened, however, I can't see us being able to afford in within the constraints of the salary cap etc.

Having said that we should explore all possibilities to make it happen if at all possible.

I reckon he will end up in melbourne if he moves.

I think you've been sucked in by Roos' dry humour.

You seem especially negative lately, and seem to be releshing your "I told you so" vindication of previous negative options.

Being realistic about Judd is not negative.

All year I thought we looked very very ordinary and was told that I was wrong and had little faith. Again, that wasn't being negative - it was an assessment based on what I saw.

Possible with Jolly to Carlton, high draft trades on traded to the Illegals and some highly paid veterans retiring or going on the veterans list. He'll ask about $1 mill a season = saving $300,000 with Crouch retirement (or veterans list), $350,000 Jolly and 350,000 with Barry retiring. He is both a marquee player and a brilliant quick midfielder which we desperately need. Ireland would be doing everything possible to sign him.

Why do you think that it may not be a chance to happen ?

He may enjoy being away from all the publicity of Melbourne

Is he definately leaving the Weagles ?

Sorry that was speculative. If Judd is to be a realistic acquisition we will need some of the highly paid veterans on the list to retire or trade some of our middling players such as Ablett or Buchanon.

Well we went hell bent after Spida and got him

Let's show Judd the great beaches and the lifestyle is better in Sydney and offer him the captaincy of the Swans and bob's your uncle plus the million a season and lock him in for the next 3 years

What do you guys think ?
