    Pity they both can't.

My attitude was to not watch the game at all. Didn't want to muse over what could have been. Because we were nowhere near good enough to beat the Pies, a team we lost 3 times to this year. No interest in the result. Hate both teams. Couldn't barrack for either to be honest. So didn't watch it. I guess I'm not an AFL supporter these days. I'm a Swans supporter.

For me the A-league season started in earnest at 3/4 time last week. I do recall talking about the A-League & Sydney Fc in the last quarter of the match, much to the bemusement of the Collingwood fans behind us.

I watched Sydney FC instead of the footy tonight. They lost, again. And are last on the ladder

Too bad Sydney aren't interested in him

I watched the entire game tonight, always great to see the Eagles suffer more heart breaking defeats. Plus i gotta barrack for the Pies for my brother now!

I didn/t think I would ever get so excited watching two teams who I dislike play. But it was a really exciting match. I was hoping Collingwood would win because I couldn't cope with WC strutting around if they had won. And now Geelong can smash the pies next week!!!!! Rocca looked old and tired, he was totally outplayed tonight and the Geelong boys will eat him up and spit him out. I though Dale Thomas had a great game and Didak also.

I feel asleep halfway through the last quarter. Sums up how much I care who won.

The umpires probably let it go at the end because they were lost without Sydney to crucify and didn't know which of their two protected species teams to favour.

Sucked in eagles. That final goal from Swan really shut their whinging fans up.

Collingwood are a chance next week.

Where's the smiley? You have to be joking. Collingwood are no chance.

I could never in the last two years or so make up my mind who I hated the most, Collingwood or West Coast.

Watching the extra time period of their semi final clash my mind was finally made up: I HATE THE EAGLES THE MOST.

I couldn't believe that I was not only supporting the Pies, but was very happy for their fans, (who know doubt witnessed their team's last win of 2007)

I think my hatred for the Eagles stems not just because of their recent and famous rivalry with Sydney, but the attitude of their fans at Subi, (and speaking personally via my in-laws, the attitude of many Western Australians in general to people "who live in the Eastern States")

They're playing magnificent footy atm. I think it's unfair to say they have no chance whatsoever.

Did anyone see the sign held up by a Collingwood supporter at the end of the game - "Such is Life"

Ah, how do they come up with these things?? Very quiet here in the West today. It will be nice to enjoy the next 6 months without gloating Wet Toast supporters, unless of course, they have all jumped off the bandwagon??
I might have a slight drinking problem. My husband asked me to toast some bread for him...so I raised my wine glass and said "Here's to bread!"

Just like the Swans supporters who live in Sydney.

Haha, yeah that was pretty funny.

I still can't get over the last minute and a bit of the 4th quarter. I was shaking and felt sick and i didn't even care who won.

Uh-huh I noticed quite a few less Swans supporters at the game last weekend compared to two weeks before. No doubt fair weather Melbourne based supporters
