Form your own opinion about Darcy Daniher today.
He's playing in the TAC Cup grand final for the Calder Cannons, starting now on Fox Sports 1.
    No. 21.
Corey McKernan's brother is also playing for the Cannons and Brett Deledio's brother for the Murray Bushrangers.

One to watch for the Bushies is Tim McIntyre (4), a very good young player.

    Go the Bushies.

Kicked the first goal now. Great grab and he's a big boy.

Great start for the lad. Playing up forward has taken 2 strong grabs.

            Looks good, doesn't he?
            Is he worth 11?

If young Darcy can perform well when the pressure is on in a Grand Final then he is the type of player we would want at the Swans.

In relation to the average Daniher that would undoubtedly be Chris Daniher, who had a serviceable career at Essendon but was not outstanding like Terry or Neale.

Anthony Daniher was at the Swans function last night, so still may have close ties.

Gee he could be great for the Swans in the future. I'm crossing my fingers n hoping that we're the ones to get him.

Is a bit of an awkward kick. He rolls the footy over when he drops it to his boot when on the run. At a set shot almost has the ball pointing backward for a drop punt. You would reckon being a son of an AFL player of many games he might have got that right at a young age.

Moves OK and reads the play OK.

The player I liked in that game was Peter Robertson for Calder off half back. Showed great poise under pressure, good skills, had good run and on all but one occasion that I saw found a man with good up ground vision. Also liked Rockcliffe for Murray not as a forward but midfielder as when he had a run on the ball had good stamina and found the footy often. Kicks well and is good overhead.

Arrowsmith from Calder also looks a good type.

                          Agree 100%.

I was pretty amazed the commentators didn't pump his tyres up a bit more. Looked real cool under pressure, just seemed to have a lot of time and his decision making was spot on.

I'd be very satisfied if we managed to obtain him in the draft if he is in it.

Does anyone have Daniher's stats for the game today? from all reports he wasn't overly impressive when compared to a few of his team mates. Should we be chasing him?

It is now a bidding process for F/S so I would think on that performance our recruiting staff would be thinking very hard as to whether he is worth it, but then again they have probably been watching him for a couple of years.

This issue must be decided in the next 9 days.

We will see in a couple of days,i was talking to the ex coach of Calder yesterday and he reckons both Arrowsmith and Daniher are pretty impressive.I dont know if i can trust his judgement to much as he coached ROK and B1 at Calder and he said B1 was very impressive as a youngster. He was spot on about ROK who has turned into a excellent footballer.
