I don't rate Bevan that highly but think he's in front of Crouch and Mathews and is probably the replacement for them.
If going in headlong for the ball was what it is all about then Bevo would be top of the class......but it's what you do with the ball that matters.
Bevo is possibly the worst decision maker in the AFL.. His main competition for that honour, is of course, Mathews.
Crouchy maybe getting a bit long in the tooth but he is a far better player ,IMO, than those 2 hacks.

I have also been told 8 is the about figure as well so maybe that is what they are looking at. Will be very interesting to see who goes etc.

I saw a small smoke signal appear above the horizon on Monday suggesting Buchanan is hankering to come back to Melbourne.

Send him to Hawthorn. Take that.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Well I notice today that the Kangaroos have named their de-listed players and they only played last week so how come we are so slow?

Precisely. We need all the defensive players (backup) we can get.

Offer them up in trades. Since our players are not well known, if they wish to leave / we need to let them go, by delisting them we are telling the others they are not even worth a trade.

Can use the delisting players to get other deals over the line.

Well all our players struggled against Collingwood even Goodes was run down a couple of times

Whos Going Whos Getting traded And up and coming Players

                    Who's Going Delist

Mathew Davis - he is @@@@ his been on the list for 3 years and has not even got a game why keep him what Does Roos see in him
Simon Phillips- His Just Gone backwards and isnt having an impact
Sam Rowe - Him and Shaw are dominating the ruck contests in the reserves but the competition is weak in the reserves and he is just not playing good enough to be at afl level
Earl Shaw - Him and Rowe are dominating the ruck contests in the reserves but the competition is weak in the reserves and he is just not playing good enough to be at afl level
Mathew Laidlaw - He is struggling and has been dogged by injury's and just has Not copped with Afl Very Well

                    Trade Potential

Stephen Doyle - Now here is a guy that has had 8 years on the list and has only had 47 games he is hopeless what did he do last year nothing he only got a game cause Ball retired you could trade him to Adelaide, Essendon , Melbourne , Carlton cause clubs are low in Ruck Divisions And you could get a high draft pick or a Decent Player
Sean Dempster - He is apparently Pissed off with Sydney not getting game time and he wants them to find a trade option for him if the swans dont he will stay
Nic Fosdike - He misses Home (SA) and wanted to go in 2006 but they kept him i say let him go you could get a good player for him like Shirley
Luke Vogles - His best option is to be traded he is just not getting any game time maybe trade to the bulldogs for a draft pick they are looking for Big Forwards
Jarred Moore - He Loves the swans but no matter how hard he try's he cant a Game and he wants to be traded back home to a Melbourne team
Amon Buchanan - Now He is 1 of my favorite Players but he is lacking discipline and the Sydney swans leadership group does not like it and it showed by him not in the Senior Side against Collingwood and we probably could have won that with Buchanan And he Also wants to go home to Colac and Afl Sides have heard of him wanting to come back and they will make big Bids to get him in the trade dont be surprised if he goes And it wouldn't be a total loss this kid Brendan Murphy is suposed to be Pritty good He is fast powerful and has good skills and he might push Buchanan out

                    Up And coming Players

Ryan Brabazon - When This Guy gets a shot at Afl he will stay in the swans Senior side he is very good with his skills and is fast he is like Amon Buchanan's Speed he will get a game in 2008
Jonathan Simpkin is Considered to be exactly like Buchanan
Kristin Thornton He was A solid Contributor to the swans Reserves and they will keep him cause of his leadership and he captained the 07 grand final
Nicholas Smith a Little Midfielder he reminds me of Paul Willams hard fast and good at kicking a goal
Ed Barlow - Every Swans Supporter Knows who this guy is he has stepped up on the fringe of getting dropped he pulled his finger out and will probably stay in the senior side for awhile and to be considered as the next Adam Goodes is very good

Interesting comments; Buchanan to the ressies did smell a bit fishy IMO. Delisting Rowe and Shaw and trading Doyle would be a great way to make the ACTAFL more interesting as well.

                        We'd still have Currie.

Have heard some recent (and totally unsubstantiated) rumours that he is on the outer with the coaching staff. For what reason, I do not know.

That seemed to be the case simply from an outsiders point of view. He didn't get any preferential selections coming back from ACT...

Roos Should Seriously Consider his list and look at some potential trades he is sticking with 26 players and not giving enough young players ago it will hurt us in the future if we keep sticking with the same 26 and it will be a replay of the 90's

Some interesting comments there but I find the Laidlaw delisting a bit strange.
