My point was, both Judd and Hodge were outstanding in one half of the year but both were quiet and ordinary in the other half of the year.

May be Mike thinks that Goodsey is a far better player than the whole year warranted, there fore his mid table standing.Goodsey does have a lot to live up to.

Spot on there RP,Mike has been a little harsh on Goodsey.It seems a lot with Goodsey,but what about Judd,Goodsey and Hodge all had super half years yet their rankings were far different.Gone is the line"power of the pussy"because it should now be "power of the Judd"The entire football media is Judd whipped.

Firstly, I never said he was useless, I said he was an ordinary tagger IMO.
If you wish to overrate Ling, than go right ahead....but......
Both play similar roles, but IMO Kirk wins hands down when compared with Ling. I've always had a soft spot for the cats, and watch them often. This is not a case of simplistic bias, as you seem to think. Ling has none of Kirks leadership qualities. And his disposal is often slow and indecisive. The only thing he does better than Kirk is diving.
You still haven't answered my first question ...?? Re: Who would you have Ling or Goodes? So when you've done that, here's another question...Who would you prefer Ling or Kirk ?

Given that Brown had one of his best seasons to date, he's still the most overrated player in the land in terms of hypeerformance. He just has to turn up and suddenly he's better than Judd in the eyes of some people.

I find it amazing that Goodes' is almost never talked about as being better than Judd, but Brown has been talked up as the #1 player sometimes. Pathetic!

That's because most opposition supporters view Goodes as an overrated hack who doesn't deserve two Brownlow medals, especially from Pies supporters.

I agree about Jonathan Brown. Most overrated player in the comp, however his 2007 form was outstanding and the Lions will expect more of that in the rest of his playing career.
