Does anyone know if Canberra residents get Swans games on live FTA as well?
I'm pretty sure they do. I'm sure I've watched the Swans on FTA at my wifes aunties place.

            Dear Moderators,

If GS 14 does not renew his membership for next season can you please remove him from the moderator group. As i dont think he has any right of reply regarding Swans issues if he is not a member.

One positive note is the number of afternoon away games. Last season in total (home and away) we played in the afternoon 10 times and lost just once, against Geelong at the Catery. Next season,7 of our 11 away games will be played in the afternoon.

One thing for sure is the team is going to have to be up and running for round one with those first 5/6 games. No more letting the old farts cruise into the season as in the past. Every year it going to get more competitive and we cannot afford to be trying to come from say 10th at the half way mark.

Got to have all grunt we can muster from the starting gun.

I suspect with a new fitness coach there might be a change of mindset this preseason. I want to see the old buggers earn their spot right away rather than get concessions for age and loaf in a pocket for the first few rounds.

I brought my now 6 yr old down to most Sat night games this year. We come down from the Central Coast and he slept all the way home in the car after each game.

I prefer Sat night games to Sunday because it frees up the day.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

I'd have to say some Melbourne based members are hard, or impossible, to please about a draw.

Six games in Melbourne is par for the course and of those 6 games you get to see the top 5 ranked Melb based teams from last year + the likely biggest improver, Carlton.

I reckon you'll get to see some cracking games in Melbourne next year, you should be happy. I just don't understand the angst.

It is just a really late night. We live near the city and night games so don't have to travel too far, but either ground is late to have a young kid at and it takes them a couple of days to catch up on their sleep. We've always found it to be a problem, you need to be mindful that regardless of how far away they live from the ground the game is finishing 2-3 hours after most little kids bed time (or more). Junior footy has also moved a while ago from Saturday to Sunday morning (I believe to get the private school kids), this year my son was playing Auskick and loved both it and the Swans dearly but he was half asleep on any Sunday that was following a Swans game the night before.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

No we are not hard to please,if the Swans are keen to get more members back in Melbourne we need more games plain and simple. For one we should get rid of the sleepy hollow games and move them to Melbourne so we get 8 games.

BTW how would you like it if you had only 6 games in Sydney,i know you wouldnt.

Having a game in Geelong for the third year in a row is a joke. I'd be happy if the 6 games were actually in Melbourne, but they aren't.

For the SYDNEY Swans? It would seem a little silly.
