haha and seeing 2002 was possibly the most awful year (well at least the first half was) to a be Swans fan since the early 90's, it seems to be a good thing to lose!!

Definitely impressed with some of the youngsters. Hope to see them debut in the regular season.

Great effort boys. Should give the youngsters a great deal of confidence.

Good result - we didn't get blown away as has been the case many times in recent years.....so there was an intensity through the entire game, but we lost, meaning we can now control our pre-season buildup the way we want. I'm a happy boy! Well, apart from Eski buggering his knee

              I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Great effort. Hopefully some of the morons on BF will stfu about our lack of young talent.

More chance of a season without the Weagles in the news for the wrong resaons.

                    Best for Sydney:

@@@@ I'm impressed with some of our younger players incuding, Craig Bird, Ryan Brabazon, Kristin Thornton and Keiran Jack.

Disappointed in Nick Malceski. Done an ACL and will be out for the season. @@@@ I feel gutted. It's the 2nd one he's done in his young career.

I hope I am wrong, since he has to have scans but it didn't look good. It's no wonder, why we recruited Martin Mattner.

Very sad news about Eski, any wonder why Sydney always go with a very under strength side in the pre season.
