    Roos under investigation (-> Cleared)

Good on Roosy treating NAB cup with the disdain it deserves. I love watching footy, but all the crap rules Supergoals blah blah, make NAB cup games unwatchable

In may respects our performances reflect that our supporters have no respect for the comp

Was this a secret? i.e. that we don't care

    Onya Roosy

Seems a bit bizarre. If Roos has been seriously trying to tank the game, surely he'd have made sure they weren't within 2 points late in the game.

I dont think he would have said at the start of the game....right guys lets not give a @@@@@@@.

Surely he'd want a fairly good hit out...but simply not win.

The NAB cup is a farce anyway, hopefully this will put an end to it for once and all. Somehow I doubt it when there are sponsorship $ around and d*ckhead Demetriou is running the game.

Regardless of how farcical the game may appear, you can't throw it.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

He could have thrown it within the rules. If you make too many interchanges then the opposition gets a free kick from the top of the goal square. All he had to do was make a couple of extra interchanges and he could have proved 2 points,

          1) That the competition is a farce.

          2) That the limiting of interchanges is stupid.

Plus he would have ensured that we lost the game.

Allegedly replaced Bevan with McVeigh and told him not to kick a goal. That should be the argument for his defence; those 2 couldn't kick a goal between them even if they wanted to

Why don't they investigate Carlton for tanking during the Home and Away season? The AFL are hypocrites of the highest order.

Could this be the first time it has been proved tanking exists. Shame on you Roosey for upsetting the enlarged, overpaid ($1.4 million), supposedly working man's man, failed GM of a dental supply company, average footballer who runs an organisation that has money flooding in because of the quality of the product that he has not improved and TV stations falling over themselves to inflate his ego.

The proverbial drover's dog could run this comp right now. Then we have the right hand wealthy man from the different side of the river, lauding his leader knowing that he is sitting pretty to pick up the paper cabbage of the leader he is standing behind. He will of course wait for a couple of payrises, but we must feel sorry for him because he probably has lost a bit on the stock market lately.

Shame on you for upsetting a struggling bank that has had to put it's interest rates up because it has made poor borrowing decisions in the US of A. Keep this up Roosey and you will have this country on it's knees. Tanking is a serious offence and you may be sent to the rack and suffer the indignity of a 1000 lashes.

And all this because an official who thought he heard you make a comment at an Aussies Rules game with the teams 2 points apart and crowd screaming. Yes and in the quietness of a 737 aeroplane an official from a seething defeated football team thought he he heard an umpire as good as say, "serve them right for whingeing, they got what they deserved".

I have a mind to cut up my season's ticket. Then again, nah, It's about time we had some scandal at the club.

What I like about what Roos did, regardless of what he said, is he made a mockery of the 16 a quarter interchange rule, simply by leaving players off for a period of time that it would have taken to initiate the next interchange under the normal rules. He is paid to bring home the real silver ware, not the pewter mug that sits at the back of the trophy cabinet.

Roosey to run the AFL when he gives up coaching, here, here. Get someone in there who knows something about footy. Not millionaire stock brokers or fat contollers who are only there for themselves.

Whether or not Malceski's injury was inevitable, for example, no-one can miss the connection that every coach would want to head into the home & away with all players fit & firing.

                      Who believes in conspiracy theories?

Could it be that we receive an even worse end of the stick from the grummpies in 2008 than the rock bottom go we got in 2007?

                      Only speculating here.

I very much fear that our very own RWO'er, the great poster 'The ROK", will sink the slipper into Roosey even deeper as the season progresses as we get an appalling run from the bald headed ones of the umpiring fraternity, let alone from "Razor" Chamberlain.

Can you hear the cries of woe from Connolly as Bevo gets free after free against him for falling on the ball and running too far, oblivious to his own scintillating speed?

And me complaining because my favourite, Craig Bird, gets crucified for being so bloody good.

                      Roosey what have you done.

I've got several questions for you Andrew Dimwitriou.

1: Why don't you investigate Carlton for apparent tanking during the Home and Away season, instead of investigating the Swans during the stupid NAB Cup, where half the clubs don't take seriously anyway?

2: Why didn't you consult the clubs about these changes before you brought them in?

3: Why are you investigating only Paul Roos, when Mick Malthouse was also heavily critical of the interchange bench rule?

Paul Roos, is only exploiting a stupid rule, which nobody likes!!!

I don't always agree with Malthouse, but you should have listened to him, before the Round 1 of the NAB Cup, Andrew Dimwitriou. The matter of the fact is, the Swans would have fielded a much stronger team, if you hadn't had brought in those rules, without consulting the clubs first! You have only shot yourself in the foot, with these stupid rules!!! Roos is only doing what many coaches have said, that they'll do but didn't have the balls to do it!

I wrote this at my forum! I can't stand Dimwitriou at times.

Is there anyway I can get in contact with Andrew Dimwitriou with these questions?
