33-24 free kick count. I'd like to maybe even that up a bit more by adding 1 to us for high contact on Hall right in front of our goals in the first half and subtract the free against Mattner that resulted in the Schneider goal. Can you do that?I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Why did Roos bother benching Davis for the last minute?I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

Guess I'm in the minority but I loved that game. It had a bit of everything and ended with the typical swans heart in your mouth finish.
I am really excited by this season. We were paying $3.00 to win this game yet came within 2 points. Most people are writing us off. Great. Once Jack, Moore and Bird keep improving...
Who will make room for Fosdike, Everitt etc to come back in??Comment

The good
-Kennelly back and just looks a class above the rest of the backline running out of defence
-Jack had a great game, I loved his (legal) bump in the first quarter.
- Moore was good in passages, some great kicks into attack.
- LRT's great attack on the footy. That's the way to play.
The bad
- We are in serious trouble if Bevan is going to play on the opposition's best small forward every week. He has little idea of how to play as a defender.
- Is there a money back guarantee on Hall's surgeries? Perhaps we can direct them to some anger management classes.
- Ablett clearly not fit, why play him?
- Jude MIA.
- Poor Bird was clearly overawed early on, and he looked hurt coming off. Not a n auspicious start.
The ugly
- The club should place a permanent ban on preseason Adam Goodes fluff pieces.Comment

Any chance we're just dusting off the cobwebs? And what's with Goodes? If we have to wait 'til round 11 for him to be brilliant, I'll just about give up.Comment

You can't pull a guy for missing from that far out.

ETA: Actually as someone said above about NOG if he's restrained his knee, since he was struggling he might be the other possibility to replace Fossie.Last edited by gossipcom; 22 March 2008, 08:52 PM.Comment

surprise surprise, we lose another close one.
How many hours do they practice on their kick ins? I bet it's minutes not hours. The same amount of time they work on their kicking skills.Official Driver Of The "Who Gives A @@@@ As The Player Will Get Delisted Anyway" Bandwagon.

Spida for Grundy, and Teddy as a swingman. Poor Reg is just too one dimensional for me. He can get away with it easily in Canberra, but not at this level. Just doesn't do enough off the ball.Comment
