If that's the thought process, then I've never heard anything so ridiculous.

We barely have any matchwinners and then they drop him. What an absolute disgrace.

I think Bevan would be the least to sacrifice.

More likely to be a twinge that isn't worth risking. Does anyone remember Nick going down with a hamstring in the first few minutes of an early season game in 2006(?) - that'd be hard to face again.

It'd be very strange if he was dropped on form when everyone played so badly last weekend. And it seems unlikely that he'd get time to do something stupid so soon. So I'm betting on injury at training.

It's certainly the most plausible explanation. A minor twinge that they hoped he'd get over but hasn't quite settled down. The fact he's still shown as an emergency might be because they've just rejiggled the squad the way it was originally named.

Will be interesting to see if they name another emergency - assuming this explanation is correct. As I observed earlier in the week, there's no-one else currently fit who's ever played a senior game.

Same here, though as Ive said here numerous times we need to kick goals and Nick does. Surely there playing duck and drakes with this one or he is injured, Davo was hardly the worst last week. Though when you bludge on your mates most of the time and dont chase like he did a couple of times last week it sticks out !!
Its the ability he has got that he doesnt deliver enough that sticks out so much. It goes against the "Ethos" the players have put in place.
The Bevo ,McVeigh, Matthews Bashers can bang on, though they follow team rules which is big in the club, and I betcha Davo is paying for not going by the book.

No mention of an injury there, though it could be a simple omission.

Thrilled that Cheese is in the team, but for Davis!?111 Surely Grundy would be the perfect person to drop for a player of Ed's build. Obviously Bevan will never be dropped again, he must be giving Roos some good relationship advice or something?

Most surprising. He is the best kick for goal we have

It is consistent with the trade of Schnieder, at least. Soon all players with any sign of flair and spark will be gone...

Late change, Davis for Ablett. If not, membership torn up.

your greatest post ever Liz,this is just crap the one person in our team that can kick a goal from a set shot, not like o'loughlin, mchack,j.bolton and to a lesser extent goodes and hall.
but it would be good to have a set shot but we race out of defence then stop at the 50,WHY?
