I agree that Goodes performance in the Saints game and until half time yesterday were unacceptable, but he improved considerably after half time yesterday. I would hold on to any calls about dropping him just yet.
Should Goodes be dropped?

Well, I have to admit that Goodes hasn't lit the footy world on fire so far. Is this going to be another quiet half H&A season for him? Sooner or later somebody in the media will get his teeth into him to get him started. That's probably the only thing he needs, a little bit of a kick from the media.

Goodes has a history of starting seasons slowely. Form is not something that can be turned on when you want to.
Thankfully he looks fit and is not injured so we can expect to see him improve steadily over the next 3 to 6 weeks.

My g-d..I have been saying this since round 1 last year. Goodes needs to be shown that playing ho hum footy isn't acceptable. So many times the game just goes right by him.
UGH..... the main prob is a average game by him is still a good game for other players...so how do we make him perform to his full standard week after week???you know what they say, dirty pants- clean bottyComment

Goodseys missus dumps him...looks like we are in for a lean time for Goodsey now.Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

No body should be above the TEAM no matter who they are.
Well i think Goodsey is slowly and surely slowing up and becoming less aggressive..his hunger is not there..
