Goodes is a sensitive individual who you have to treat carefully. Yes, he can get sloppy & lazy at times. But if you abuse him like Rodney Eade used to do (to the point of having him in tears in the change rooms at half time from al reports), he will go into his shell & not express himself.

Roos probably did as much as he could before last Sunday's game. He used the media to illustrate what he said & that they were watching his efforts closely.

Goodes hit back like a true champion with a top game. Even though I find his kicking & option taking suspect at times to be honest. (But he wasn't Robinson Crusoe there on Sunday was he? )

Ah - now I understand. You think Goodes didn't play well and should be dropped.

I thought he didn't play as well as some people think, as he made a mess of some disposal he really shouldn't and went completely missing for the third qtr, but overall I thought he was pretty good. Starting to show some really promising signs again.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

i think it is more of a reflection on how badly he has played in other games, that he is being so highly rated on sundays efforts.

Jonesy my friend ... read my lips.

Adam Goodes will not be dropped from this team - EVER.

The only reason Goodesy will drop a game is if he's injured (touch wood).

Even if he's standing on his head for four quarters singing christmas carols - he's STILL going to be 1) a magnet for the oppositions best tagger (who will be running in circles around him); and 2) a headache for the opposition coach.

As for the bitch who dropped him. I'm going to find her and scratch her bloody eyes out. Tickets are now on sale for the scrag fight.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
