Accuracy aside, a much better game from Barry Hall than what he was like last season.
Also great to see the likes of Bird,Jack,Barlow bring some youthful enthusiasm to the side, something Roos has been reluctant to try in the past.

I had two bottles of Shiraz - Pertaringa 2006 (McLarenvale) / Wirra Wirra 2006 Scrubby Rise - both excellent and around $20 but no ciggies.

Thought we played well, could have done better. The future looks good

LOLZ! They're looking like last year's news at the minute.

Add Kennelly and O'Keefe to that list

                Best:

                Kirk - gutsy game
C Bolton - what a champ to hold J Brown like he did
B Hall - took some good marks and is moving well
J Moore - impresses more (pardon pun) each week
                O'Keefe - everywhere man
Kennelly - we've missed his pace and run through corridor
Jack - has found a permanent place in the team

                Honourable mentions:

Teddy Richards - he's a good mark and saved a couple on the backline
Marty Mattner - thank God for him with Malceski out

                Good:

Goodes - got better as the game went along
Jolly - rucks well but gives away a few too many frees
J Bolton - got some good centre clearances
Bird - pace and disposal will improve the more games he plays - reads the play well

Roos innovation of coaching from the sideline really seems to be working.

West Coast looked way below their best today, so we should do well against them next week. I'm feeling very optimistic

If you understand the comment - replace Bolton - yes, but not with Davis.

I forgot McVeigh in my "best". He's really starting to come of age.

Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
