I know he had possessions, but his job is kicking goals. Lucky for us that Lions made lots of mistakes as well. If we lost because of Bazza's misses would he be dropped the following week? Of course not. I think we're getting too tolerant of his misses.

Overall I'm happy that we won, but we overused the ball as well what Roos also admitted in his interview. They need to work on that.

      Go young guns!
Leo Barry played a great game last week. He was well beaten tonight but how does one game down make him a serious lianility FFS? In regard to Hall perhaps you should consult his optometrist? And Bevo is a certainty to be in the leadership group in the future. The Western Whatevers will need some fairweather supporters though.

        Yes, you're right about B1.

Come on - replace JB with another runner yes - Davis no. As we then load up the fwd line without considering the structure of the fwd line. ND hasn't proven himself in the centreline or on ball grp -because its not his position.

I'm actually happy about his game, he can mark! If he'd lost that too, than yes get rid of him!

misses happen from time to time, going missing ala Davis from the game is the only reason one would get dropped

Good to see Triple M (much-maligned McVeigh) playing well.

He said he'll be fully fit by round 4, so let's wait until he tears the Eagles a new one

Enough gloating about Bevan, he wasn't special tonight. He deserves a spot and that's about it for the moment.

"Another runner"? - J Bolton's not a runner. Schmidt is probably the logical replacement for J Bolton, but we still need goalkickers regardless. Davis is actually pretty effective in the midfield on his short stints in there, just needs to get the ball more.

I've seen Davo play great footy up the ground. Mostly because he knows how to find the footy and is a long and accurate kick. Now that we have the youngsters giving us a dangerous look in the midfield we don't need Boltons game. Davis would be a perfect fit IMO

So when will Crouch and Mathews announce their retirements?
