OK I'll explain it for the simpletons...

Roos said he saw nothing so the media would leave him alone and not ask questions about the incident. By not answering questions about the incident Roos can in no way incriminate Hall by saying something detrimental to his case. Thus, Roos was not only brilliantly coaching on match day by keeping the little druggies honest, he was brilliantly planning for Hall's return from a reduced sentence that was not influenced in any way from what he could have said to the media. You don't talk about the case until it comes to trial. Pretty simple really. It's not rocket science, and to be honest it's not brilliance, but why can't I carry on like a pork chop like the Lobster seems to always do?

And it is great to see the peanut gallery still sticking together. Keep the bastards honest I say. You're the greatest NMW

Why wasn't Hall dragged? Obvious answer,

Couldn't find a big enough dress!

          Next siilly post.

Wiggles in ticket scam. Barry Hall's punch has altered the state of the Sydney equilibrium and caused Wiggles consert tickets to be sold for a motza.

Can I blame Barry for my poor sex life? Yeah why not! You bastard Barry, it's all your fault!

              Right on Connolly.

Big friggin deal. Blind Barry laid a hit in. We all know he's done it before. Guess what ... he's likely to do it again.

He'll just take his punishment (whilst he's recovering) spend a week or two in the ressies to get his fitness back (although they will say that it's a leadership decision to make it all look good) then he'll be back to kicking goals and you people will be back to saying how fantastic he is.

Will we see such a laissez faire attitude when a Swan is belted next time...?

Now that would depend on who got hit!!

Of course not - like any hot-blooded one-eyed swans supporter, I would be calling for the death penalty.

It's hard to win football games when one of your better players is suspended for a large chunk of the season.

Hall is a leader of the club. He was writing in his SMH column last week that he is now a better leader because he's relinquished the captaincy.

He also happens to be one of the highest, if not THE highest, paid footballers at the club. The club pays him to play football, not be out suspended.

Belting guys and getting rubbed out - whether its Hall (this time) or Goodes (almost this year and last) - just isn't on.

                        Of course.

BUT - his injury is going to keep him out longer than the suspension.

Have you ever had a brain snap?

The injury shouldn't be used as an excuse for his behaviour.

What is worse? Not applying enough 'forward pressure' as Davis is alleged to do or missing several games through stupidity. Hall should be judged by the same Bloods rules that Davis is judged by and so far, Leo's strong condemnation sends the right signal.

I have had brain snaps but I've never belted a bloke. More so, I know if I do something stupid which forces me off work for an extended period (for example being sent to jail) I would probably lose my job.

I commented to my wife straight after a game that it was the flattest I had ever felt singing the club song after a win.

Hall's pre-madonna outburst has the potential to derail such a bright start to the season.
What and a 62 point win didnt lift your spirits??? well if you are feeling bad for the team - what about the Cronulla Sharks - their players are getting suspended left right and centre - but are now on equal top of the table so thus far their season is going pretty well!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

There is a difference. Big Bustling applied too much defensive pressure (on Stakers whiskers) whilst Davis applied absolutely no defensive pressure (on anyone). A weak diffident physical performance is much worse than an over vigorous excess. Ask any elite coach in any code of sport. If the Cats play Wojcinski on Kid Terrific it will be a nightmare.
