Two days on from the Hall meltdown

I have just come home from work and "gee" did I get a pasting from everyone about THAT incident. Just had to sit there, take it all and agree that it was an appalling incident. They acted like I was the one who told him to do it. I hope he realises how much he has let us all down and how hard he has made it for all of us who love the red and white.

You are taking the p*** surely?

Suck it up. Sure it was a moment of madness, but "please understand how hard he has made it for us in the red and white"? WTF? Because some dudes at your work are talking about it or whatever??

This board is going as soft as the AFL in general!

I've just been telling people I'm pissed he did not take out Hunter as well

As if this makes it harder to be a swans supporter - suck it up princess.

I was greeted with a variety of "Can't let him do that to young boys" etc. as if he was a Catholic Priest type comments.

But to a man..as they were all men said "Wasn't it a good hit!!!!" Wierd...I was the person that was the most furious.

Thank heavens Carlton beat Collingwood as the Bluebaggers at work were too busy having a fieldday to think about any one else

Have to admit most people at my work seemed impressed with the hit and didn't have a negative opinion of it, the most upset seemed to be the actual Swans fans at my work!

Damn, if only he'd have laid out Hunter...no one would have minded, not even his dad...
I loathe that mongrel almost as much as I loathe the Druggies as a whole...what a wuss.
I'm getting mellow in old age...by hatred of the bummers and dorks is subsiding, even my distaste of the drunks is easing (Schneider, we still love you in this house --manly kind of love, I might add)...soon iit can be 100 per cent devoted to Illegal hatred.
I'm hoping Bazza makes his return against the Druggies at Subie round 11. I'd even fly out west to see that one (though may have to leave the redand white scarf behind).
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

This could prove to be a master stroke in promoting the code, given the opinion amongst league people that it is soft.

Most sitting around me last Saturday took the incident with a light heart except for the sudden awakening that he will be missing for quite a few weeks at a time when the team having a bit of a momentum to maybe go all the way this season.

Anyway, I think the media is over the top negative with comments like BBB should be out for the season because I don't think BBB did what he did intentionally or with any menace.

To tell you the truth, he seemed to be distressed by the incident as he didn't move as well and didn't look to be into the game anymore since the incident.

I am only hoping that the Tribunal will just apply the point system and give him 4-6 weeks and not go over the top because of the media pressure.
I am as old as the sum of my disappointments and as young as those naughty thoughts in my mind.

I would refure to take any crap from the weagles supporters....coming from the team that let a druggie (s) play in their side for years and did nothing about it..ppuullease....they haven't a leg to stand on. At least our guys fron the media ...well dressed as well I might add. Not in old tshirts..etc...

The people around me where either cheering, jeering or similar. Myself, my head went straight in my hands as I yelled "Barry, you IDIOT"

I brought myself up and said to the friends that were with me, that is at least 4 weeks, which is great since I cannot remember the last time since we've had this good of a start to a season.

I got abuse from Jordan Lewis' father from all people today at work.

But don't worry, I was hanging @@@@ on him in return, telling him that Jordan, should have received 10 weeks for his hit on Daniel Pratt.
