Am I right in thinking that both Barlow and Smith went to Scotch College? If so it would be pretty big for that school.

No point being a strong bodied defensive utility if you don't know how to play as one, and Bevan doesn't. He is better forward, really. But he isn't good enough to break into our small forward ranks to get enough game time to make an impression. Bevan has played one good game this year, and probably played one good game last year. That isn't enough to warrant selection.

Not one Nick but two find way into seniors - realfooty.com.au

Earmarked for a defensive role, a la his mentor Malceski. Interesting.

According to the 2nd article he was promoted after Meredith was placed on the LTI, while in the SMH article it says he replaced Kristin Thornton.

What a load of BS, some of the best footballers have come from private schools. Ever heard of Assumption College Kilmore?

The Golden Rule huh? Actually I think you just made it up. Bizarre comment.

What a load of nonsense. Isn't Rugby Union a so called sport of the privileged classes? I've seen one or two tough and resilient blokes playing that sport.

Also, I don't think LRT has shown any lack of intestinal fortitude. Didn't he come from some fancy-schmancy Sydney school?
