    Nice spin!

There was nothing I saw to suggest Davis was trying any less hard than MOL.

In my view, Roos erred in not having a tall target up forward and our delivering inside 50 would have given any forward nightmares. None of that is Davis' fault.

In my humble opinion that was one of the reasons we were run over the top in the last. Jolly was just out on his feet, they killed us in the ruck and started to run out of the middle. If we had played White at least we would have had a tall option up front, he could have rucked and taken the load off Jolly. LRT should have played at CHF. In my opinion Davis should never have played. In fact I said before the match we were one tall short. So not only do I think that Kid Terrific had a shocker, he shouldn't have been on the paddock in the first place. Smith should have played on the forward line as the fast defensive forward on Wojcinski and Davo should have been in Canberra in the two's or at 20/20. Anywhere but at Kardinia Park. History has absolved me.
I thought Jolly had a great game, but I'm not aware of what he did when (if) playing as a permanent forward.

      LRT is clueless at CHF.

We were missing a tall forward, but that could have been achieved by replacing LRT for example (if we had an appropriate replacement, which is arguable).

You make the same claims over and over again, but have no justifications and then conveniently ignore any data that refutes your statements.

Delivery was @@@@ plain and simple.

Not even Gablett Snr would have kicked goals.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

          Agreed.

Connolly- who had a better match Nicky Micky or Ryan?

It was a toughie but LRT might have played as a defensive forward role on Scarlett with MOL freed to go up the ground. Jolly was doing a lot of running to get to the 50 metre mark to present. With White up forward he could have at least taken a breather in the mid field while the ball went forward. We had to possess a lot because we lacked a tall option up front. A big factor in the last quarter fade out was our youth, lack of an extra mid (Davis significantly wasn't thrown in) and Jolly's sheer exhaustion. We fell 15 minutes short.

              Nice little story...

LRT was never going to be able to stop Scarlett, and we still need to be able to kick goals.

Mick tried hard all day and well beaten, O'Keefe played very well and Davis after half time in particluar was lets say a disappointment. No doubt his effort is being scrutinised as we speak. Stand by for some bad selection news.

At least he got the ball. Didn't see it in M'OL's mitts too often...

connolly- what did you think of Bevan's game against the Eagles?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Thought he went OK. Made position going forward well. Was ignored a few times when in a good position. Thought Goodsey could have handballed to him so that he could have got the obligatory goal. Thompson/Armstrong was pretty ordinary but could have got a couple if he had kicked better and he got a goal from a charity. The worst defensive game was played by Brennan on Neville Nobody who kicked four goals.

This is turning into a yawn fest.

... this would be the McKinley who has kicked 12 goals in 3 games and 2 of his goals last week were when Brennan wasn't on him.

You honestly think Bevan played okay against West Coast but you think Davis was awful against Geelong?
