I'm not sure if this discussion is leading anywhere. Most of posters here agree that they disagree on the contribution Davis provides in our team.
IMO, the decision will bwe probably be made on how much value does he bring to the team and how does he go along with them. In the end, it is a team sport and everybody should be contributing for the common goal according thir assigned role. If somebody doesn't like the role he is given than there's no other alternative but to leave the club. He might be our saviour in 2005 SF, but I don't see how can he continue to play for the Swans beyond 2008 if he's not accpeted by his team mates. No matter how talented he is.Comment

He wasn't in Ryan O'Keefe's wedding photos that I saw in the doctor's surgery waiting room the other day."The Dog days are over, The Dog days are gone" Florence and the MachineComment

"Probably when he didn't really deserve a game" - 13 goals in the reserves doesn't deserve a game, but constantly butchering the ball in the firsts for over a season is a guaranteed position!Roos constantly makes excuses for othe players underperforming and allows them continued chances over and over again, but Davis is jumped on straight away. It's quite simply a personality issue - any other explanation is ludicrous.
Bring it on!Comment

His bombs away effort in the last quarter against the Sainters unarguably cost us a match that was there to be won. His lack of versatility and fitness unarguably cost us in the last quarter against the cats as we were one relatively fresh mid short as Jolly and the tiny tots tired. Yep he was a significant factor in both defeats.
What if you found out Bevo and Davo were living together in a serious relationship.Comment

In a mad rush to be at the bottom Bevo would dive in first, knock himself out on the bed-head, Doavo would get a cold one from the fridge and turn on the tele.Comment

I was just thinking, and when all these players return from injury: Fosdike, Everitt, Malceski, Schmidt, Kennelly ... and suspension.. Hall
Where do we fit him into the best 22? Do we have room for a guy who will provide at 40%, even if sometimes he does something spectacular?
Do we drop the young guys, giving 110%, for Davis to stay in the side?
I think they are giving him the opportunity to prove himself, and he is not stepping up to the plate.Comment

Is it really for no reason?

But is Davis really not stepping up to the plate????
I thought he played well enough in a side depleted of fwds to retain his spot. I mean MO'L did nothing, ROK sprayed them everyway and Nick Smith hardly set the world alight. Bolton was just serviceable, no better and no worse. Why is Davo the target for relegation?Comment
