8 16 thats awful kicking if Jude could only kick points. Itwas sweet watching Harvey tho, thinking they had won.

A game we should have won, looked like we were going to lose and ended up in a draw.

At least we get 2 points.

Apparently the first draw ever between the two teams.

I seriously thought Kirk kicked that.

                  IT'S A DRAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                  Sydney 8.16 64
                  Kangaroos 9.10 64

Wasted opportunties cost us the extra 2 points. An intense final quarter of footy that went down to the wire and looked like a steal that only Geelong would win. Dominated in the possession count but our style of play was ugly to say the least and squandered a 20 point lead.

Kirk, Goodes and McVeigh were good in the midfield, our youngsters made an impact, O'Loughlin was OK in goals but goalkicking in general was poor as shown by misses from Kirk and Jude Bolton. The backmen stood up in the final stages of the game and created opportunities but were wasted by sloppy play in the midfield and forward line.

Next week, up against the Dogs who were dominant in every area of the game against the Eagles but I'm confident our midfield can apply the choke chain on the Bulldogs' midfield and win in a fairly scrappy contest.

considering how bad we were with 6 minutes to go Im actually not too disapointed. Thought Kirks kick was a goal tho

We should definetly have won that, but 2 points is better then none I guess. Overall a poor performance from us today I though, had no targets up forward for most of the day and no run at all which really was hurting us when the game eventually opened up.

How close did Kirky come to winning it for us though was only a millimetre or two in it.
As for McClaren and the umpiring generally- the less said the better. They were just atrocious today, more for their total lack of consistency then anything else. But it really hurt us when they got that run of frees early in the last that led to a goal which they backed up with another straight after. The rule that really is pissing me off this year is the 50 metres- every time it is different. North got what 3 today I think and we should of going on todays interpretation had at least the same number.

Disappointing result but at least we got 2 points instead of none.

I really am looking forward to the bulldogs game, we are going to rip them apart. We are home at last.

A game of wasted opportunities for us.

Would love to see a replay of Kirk's snap.

The only quarter of that game worth watching was the last. The rest was rubbish. I felt if our players were a bit smarter they could have worked the ball into a better position to get a shot on goal in the dying minutes, but we didn't really deserve to win it. Again, why did it take so long for them to come alive.

Still not the worst draw involving the Swans at the Telstra Dome? Would have to be close!
