The Bevan Appreciation Society ... now there's a small group!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

There's an ABC presenter called Paul Bevan. I reckon he'll join.

I think connolly can vouch for me as a card carrying member.

Bevo does the job the coach and match committee want him to do week in, week out. That's why he stays in the team.

I'm amazed some people find it so difficult to understand.

Not hopeless, but not great either. On the fringe of our best 22 in my opinion.

Yep. He's okay at the moment, but that's about it.

I think the problem is that Connolly raves on each week like Bevan has been BOG. This is clearly an gross exageration, and causes a reaction closer to the truth than what is being protrayed by his number 1 fan.

As I've said before, connolly goes too far one way to balance the masses here who want him dropped on a weekly basis, even though the match committee, coach (ie: the people who matter/know) continually choose him every week in the seniors to play a role and do a job, which of course he obviously does in their eyes.

WHAT!!! WHAT!!!! On match day you have been heard to say in these words or similar in a very loud and determined way "god get rid of him, he's useless".

You get on here and sit on the fence. What's goin' on. Your 21, you're a man now, say what you mean.

But then again you have been known to be one who kicks with the wind. In Bevo's case you are having a bit each way (I thought you were a quaddie man) and the wind appears to be going across the ground. See you Sunday for some earnest debate.

It's fun fun in the Davo fan club, the Bevo club is too full of the opposite.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I have definitely said that in the heat of the moment and with some justification too

When you consider who we've got available at the moment, I reckon he's on the fringe of our best 22. When all of Everitt, Fosdike and Malceski are ready to go, he's one of the players who should make way in my view.

However, if Bevan's playing in the seniors this week and Davis isn't, I will be one very unhappy customer.

I think it's almost a certainty Davis will be out.

If you put Everitt, Fosdike, and Malceski into the side that beat the Eagles, you'd have to take out three players - and Bevan would surely be one of them.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
